Petra – be sure to come here early in the morning to avoid the crowds of tourists. It is ideal to be there at 7 a.m., or even a little earlier! Bring good shoes, water, and a small snack. There are small restaurants in the area, and you can buy snacks on site. Before entering, you must take your Jordan Pass to the window in the visitor centre – they will issue you a ticket. It is rather convenient and useful to have a map of the area. The basic route to The Monastery and back is about 12 km. With photos, looking around, sightseeing, and coffee stops, it will take you 5-6 hours at a leisurely walk.
