Oman is located in the Middle East, in the southeast of the Arabian Peninsula. Its coastline is bounded by the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf. Sultan Qaboos bin Said is a name that every Omani knows and respects. Since the 1970s, Sultan Qaboos has been responsible for Oman's incredible growth, education, healthcare, infrascture... He's used oil and gas money, but also money from Saudi Arabia to achieve that.

Oman's landscape is very diverse, with the fertile north separated from the desert by the Al-Hajar mountains. The southern province of Dafar is regularly affected by the monsoon from the Indian Ocean between June and September. Summer temperatures in the interior can soar above 50°C. The ideal time for a holiday is therefore from October to April. Oman is open to tourists and is considered a safe tourist destination.
